Itinerary

  • 04:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco (3,400 m / 11,155 ft) and drive toward Mollepata Village. (Distance: 100 km / 2.5 hours)
  • 07:00 AM: Breakfast in Mollepata followed by a drive to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft), the trek’s starting point. (Distance: 22 km / 1 hour)
  • 08:30 AM: Briefing and beginning of the hike to Humantay Lake. (Distance: 7 km round trip / 3 hours)
  • 10:30 AM: Arrive at Humantay Lake (4,200 m / 13,780 ft). Guided explanation and exploration.
  • 12:00 PM: Descent back to Soraypampa.
  • 01:30 PM: Return to Mollepata for a buffet lunch.
  • 03:00 PM: Transfer back to Cusco.
