Hike to the ancient Inca site of Huchuy Qosqo, a lesser-known but remarkable archaeological complex that showcases fascinating architecture and stunning views of the Sacred Valley.

Itinerary

  • 06:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to Tauca. (Distance: 20 km / 45 minutes)
  • 07:30 AM: Begin the trek, passing through highland valleys and Inca trails. (Distance: 14 km / 6 hours)
  • 12:00 PM: Arrive at Huchuy Qosqo (3,600 m / 11,811 ft) for a guided tour.
  • 01:30 PM: Picnic lunch.
  • 02:30 PM: Descent to Lamay Village (2,900 m / 9,514 ft).
  • 05:00 PM: Return transfer to Cusco.
